Killing off characters is a good opportunity for some good storytelling (if done right), but when you bring 'em back, no matter how long after, it just undoes the work you put in.
How much that cabin in the woods cost for them Marvel retreats?
I'd be dammed if I pay for 20 nikkas to go on a retreat on my dime only to turn they're back on the ideas they came up with lol
Breh, the first idea they were throwing around was killing peter parker...you know, the same thing they did 3 years ago. Marvel needs to clean house if thats the best they can do
I'm sure there's a middle ground they could find.
Someone who's not extremely important, but important enough that people care.
Off him/her permanently.
Give some stakes to your storytelling from there on. Next time you kill someone, leave people wondering/debating if they'll ever come back, even if the chances are 90% that they will.
Well yeah but of course the 2nd candidate was....Johnny Storm. another guy they just killed about 5 or 6 years ago house of ideas my ass
"no more mutants............AGAIN "Breh the rumor I heard is that they plan on throwing all the mutants in the bushes in favor of the Inhumans. shyt had me like
Did Gwen Stacy's dad stay dead?Honestly, anybody that gets killed off gets brought back sooner or later even if they don't intend to bring them back at the time. Eventually some new writer will decide they want to write a story with the character and make up a way to revive them.
Only people in comic books that stay dead areBucky, Uncle Ben,Barry Allen, andJason Todd.
Well actually, just Uncle Ben. Last I checked anyway...
Did Gwen Stacy's dad stay dead?
She should've never came back, ever, so cheap.

all of this shytTheir already setting it up in the MCU for the inhumans to be the new "mutants". It's actually pretty genius, if you watch Agents Of Shield at all this season is really nothing more than a huge inhumans set up (not complaining or saying its a bad thing) and their framing it JUST like they would X-Men.
- A sizeable amount of the population, once hidden are now awakening to abilities and powers
- There is fear, distrust, and ignorance amongst the larger population
- Government unsure on how to handle them
- Some factions want to take over as the dominant species, some factions want peaceful coexistence
- hell they've even got an "apocalypse" like storyline going on right now with the "first" Inhuman being discovered on a distant planet and coming back to wreck shyt
Joking aside, War Machine is probably the likeliest candidate though.
Edit: and I goofed. Deadpool died in secret wars, but it seems that he came back to life after the reset .
