Is this within the confines of a romantic relationship?

Assuming so, there is a partition based on gender and I actually think it's a bit impractical/antiquated.

The vast majority of men are not as stoic or hard as they wish they were in order to fully conduct a romantic relationship in which respect precedes love, nor have a status that requires them to endure a loveless union for the sake of legacy.

I’m assuming OP is talking about relationships. If that’s the case then my point remains.

There’s a difference between doing certain things your partner does not respect and them straight up not respecting you as a person. Take it from someone that recently experienced it from my ex, the moment a woman stops respecting you her love for you will go with it.
