The defense industry is the biggest bunch of crooks. The Pentagon stays losing trillions that they can't account for. That's part of the reason why China is so scary. We can get high tech weapons for high tech prices. They can get high tech weapons for a fraction of what we pay.

I hear you, but China weaponry is unproven and they don’t seem interested in military conflicts.

American NatSec is a fraudulent industry and taxpayers have made some people billionaires. Saying that, financial sector is literally steaming money every year.

for some reason I don't see Wall Street influence as pervasively as I should expect. Maybe the industries themselves cover for what would be their investment influence.
