Which idea was worse? The predator in Los Angeles, or Jason in Manhattan?

Predator 2 was a
Predator in the city was actually a great idea and made sense because the predator searched out warzones to hunt strong prey. Plus Danny Glover killed that shyt in Predator 2 and was swagged the fukk out and I don’t care what anybody says.
Only time in my life, Danny never felt washed and over the hill.

For all my slander Predator 2 was dope but it’s a ridiculous concept after the first lol
Wasnt gang warfare at its peak in the earlys 90s in la?

I think they wanted to move away from the jungle because it was already done

:yeshrug:Idea wise Jason outside of Crystal Lake is a stupid idea. At least in lore the predator stalks their victims. In different locations throughout history. Jason at best should be in small towns outside of Crystal Lake.

It was weird because if I recall after the first two victims none of the other people he killed had even been to crystal lake. They really just threw some stuff together for that movie.

One thing that always got me about JTM is how Jason suddenly without any explanation gains the ability to teleport :dahell:

You can’t explain this scene without teleportation. Haven’t watched any F13 movies in a while but I don’t remember him having this ability in other films.

The theory of Jason being in Manhattan wasn't too unbelievable since Crystal Lake is surprisingly in New Jersey which is next door to NYC but the implementation of Jason's character being in the Big Apple was off (probably due to permit and budgeting issues) as most of the movie was spent on the boat, sewer, and dark alleys of the docks.

In Friday the 13th, parts 1-4, Jason's character is alive as a mentally deranged human, but at the end of Part 5 (A New Beginning), he is killed by Tommy Jarvis.

In Jason Lives (Part 6), Tommy Jarvis escapes a mental ward, he and his friend then go to dig up Jason's grave to get some closure and to make sure he's dead; one then stabs his carcass with a shovel, and moments later, a bolt of lightning strikes one of the shovels, resurrecting Jason, into this supernatural being which from there on he's had these powers to appear and disappear.

Something like that I haven't binged those movies in a while. Here's the beginning of Part 6 where he gets resurrected...
