His inability to stay healthy is why they gave up on him. Him joining the Nation was going to be a good thing for his career, he was going to face Undertaker for the title at IYH: Canadian Stampede (some even speculate he was going to win the title then feud with Faarooq over leadership of the Nation similar to what the Rock did a few months later) but he blew his knee out before the PPV (Vader took Ahmeds spot vs Taker) and was out until August and when he came back they turned him babyface again and he got hurt again and by then Rock was getting hot so they went with him instead. If only he could've stayed healthy...
The nation. Rock was my fav wrestler at the time and that summer 98 feud with dx was the hottest thing in wrestling for me. Everyone came into their own. Rock became rock. D Lo became the best damn European champ there ever was, mark became sexual chocolate, and godfather became godfather.
They REFUSE TO BRING this group's name up in GOAT group flashbacks on Raw...lol
