Question: Why aren't racist and xenophobes considered conspiracy theorist?
This. Illuminati & Deep State is basically the same thing to me.a lot of overlap
nah the deep state is more like actual government agencies like CIA, FBI etc where as Iluminati is a group of rich and powerful people that try to influence the world. thats if theyre both real at all. i kind of lean with jayshiggs on this. for sure the deep state is real, i just dont think theyre trying to do a coup on trump or anything but theyve overthrown foreign govs for decades and decades, i mean this is open public info. illuminati i dont think theyre having like secret cabals or anything but its prob smthg similar to a Scientology type thing like a rich people cult, i can see that being the case.This. I think of the Illimuminati similar to a fraternity on a college campus. A group of people who operate very exclusive to themselves and that's where their true loyalty lies. So if you are a lawyer and say your client is a defendant and not a member of the organization but the prosecutor is. You will sell your client out for your prosecutor brother's interests if he asks.nah the deep state is more like actual government agencies like CIA, FBI etc where as Iluminati is a group of rich and powerful people that try to influence the world. thats if theyre both real at all. i kind of lean with jayshiggs on this. for sure the deep state is real, i just dont think theyre trying to do a coup on trump or anything but theyve overthrown foreign govs for decades and decades, i mean this is open public info. illuminati i dont think theyre having like secret cabals or anything but its prob smthg similar to a Scientology type thing like a rich people cult, i can see that being the case.
That’s who I voted for . Funniest shyt I’ve seen in a long time was when all of them on here got bushed at the same time for it too . None of them can even give a tangible reason as to why they think this either.flat-earthers since they tend to be all the above anyway
You forgot MK Ultra conspiracy theorist.Let me know if I forget anyone, but here's what I got -
- Antivaxxers - They're against vaccination and think it's part of some conspiracy to give people autism or something
- Flat Earthers - They believe the Earth is flat and there's a conspiracy to make people think it's round. I haven't seen any consistent reasoning as to the motive behind this.
- Fake Moon Landing - They believe humanity has never been to the moon and it was some huge conspiracy by NASA (that apparently all their employees were in on) to make us believe otherwise
- Climate Change Deniers - They believe climate change is fake and is part of some huge left-wing conspiracy that apparently all the world's scientists are in on
- 9/11 Truthers - Apparently we were never attacked by terrorists on 9/11 and it was some kind of controlled demolition or something.
- Birthers - They believe Obama wasn't really born in the US and there's a massive coverup regarding that. Heavily promoted by Trump prior to his election.
- Illuminati conspiracy believers - They think any and everything, including whatever rappers or entertainers do, is controlled by the Illuminati. No consistent explanation as to their motives.
- "Deep State" theorists - They believe there's a shadowy "elite" deep state government controlling everything whose only purpose apparently is to go against Trump or other Republicans.
Tough call for me.
Climate change deniers probably do the most damage right now (since most Republicans are on that shyt), but Flat Earthers just straight up irk me because it shouldn't even be a thing in 2018. People who are against vaccinations annoy me too.
Deep State is totally true. The government agencies start their own wars, overthrow foreign governments and blackmail and ruin important people's lives for political gain and for gaining international influence. How is that not true?
You forgot MK Ultra conspiracy theorist.
The Deep State thing isn't even a conspiracy anymore. Like @wtfyomom said it is documented in history now. What was Iran-Contra scandal if not some Deep State shyt? They got a TV show about it now. lolI picked Illuminati; I've always thought the idea of an all-powerful, shadowy cabal of people connected to literally every celebrity, politician, and world event (good or bad) is profoundly insane.
It can literally be an explanation for anything. The theory is completely malleable, and because it's trying to explain everything, it actually doesn't explain anything at all.
I find it even more ridiculous that many people who believe in the Illuminati have a hard time believing in God.
You believe no being like God can exist or the Bible is ridiculous, but you accept the words of YouTube Scholars™ with no follow-up?
Most people who advocate Deep State conspiracy theories either:
A. Are usually less educated about politics, even if they're public figures,
B. Have a vested interest in doing so (i.e. monetized YouTube videos/clickbait articles, an aspiring political commentary career),
C. Are looking to explain the dissonance between what they see and what they believe, or
D. All of the above.
Parts of MKUltra are real though :bppatrice:
Originally I voted climate change deniers, but after the last year I'm extremely tempted to change my vote to antivaxxers
