Which European/White country was the most devastating/detrimental for Africa?

Portugal hands down. They were the first to colonize Africa, created the West African slave trading economy, single-handedly disrupted the Arab trade routes in East Africa and thus decimating that regions economy, instigated tribal conflicts that led to centuries of civil war which they profited from, and exported more Africans during the African holocaust than any other nation. Most other European powers didn't get their foot in the door raping Africa of it's people and resources til about 120 years ago but Portugal has been doing it since the 1500s

France are still in Africa today killing natives by mining for uranium and dumping millions of tonnes of radioactive waste in the sahara desert which travels and is killing and causing deformities to the tuareg people.
It's really only Western Europe and later Russia that fukked with Africa.
On macro scale it kind of has to be Britain just for the sheer scale of what that Empire did. The Belgians/Portuguese were on some shyt though on a micro scale, they took the savagery to truly uber demonic levels. Like the shyt was already demonic throughout, and those cacs were like "nah there's levels to this".
Germans seem to have gotten away with their atrocities because of the wars and the rest of the world only focus on the fact that they went to war with fellow cacs.

King Leopold II of Belgium. He annexed the Congo as his own personal land(not his country's colony HIS OWN PERSONAL PLAYGROUND) this led to the mad rush of the rest of the European powers to colonize the rest of Africa. Prior to him much of Africa was untouched, there were British and French colonies but 90% of Africa was unclaimed until his stunt.

Whichever country started the apartheid regime in S.Africa. No one ever forgets about being second class and discriminated against on their own turf. I would also say Spain and Britain for capturing and selling the most slaves from other black tribes. In fact, the latter more so.
