I need to be @‘d for every Sopranos thread too my g

Now clearly Sean & Matt were smarter. They at least had series 7 licenses and were involved in a pump n dump scheme. The biggest racket Jackie Jr had was robbing a charity event and selling X at frat parties...and he was born connected.

“kid was always a dumb fukk wasn’t he? Didn’t he almost drown in 3 inches of water?!”

Nowadays, can you still become a stockbroker if you get a series 7 license or have things changed too much for that to be a viable and successful career?

someone correct me if I’m wrong but the series 7 is I believe the ethics portion of a set of different tests required to trade on someone’s behalf...

...since the internet age there are less and less brokers since everyone has easy access to online portfolios they can self direct.

there still are stock brokers but less and less on the side of representing retail level investors and they trade on behalf of accredited investors, holding companies, trusts, etc for large banking institutions (JP Morgan et al).

I have a friend that had a broker but he had like $3M in his trading account and was busy with his business so he needed the broker to make the moves.

same friend really invested time into his financial knowledge and is completely self directed now. That broker went on to open up a brewery outside of philly. Lesson is to own your own biz

That's dope. Do you know if you have to be good at math to succeed in that field?

Carmine Jr. Is the perfect example of what Jackie Jr. would have become if everything in life lined up for him ...... he still would be a fukking idiot getting by on nepotism....but he'd be a well respected idiot.

I wonder if that was done on purpose?

I don't doubt it. People at the top of the food chain use their wealth to make loopholes for themselves that let their kids fail upward all the time.

AJ would have been another perfect candidate for that, except that Tony let Carmela have her way and he just became spoiled and directionless.

not sure...I trade (far from an expert and I don’t trade on ppl’s behalf) and I’m no math savant...as long as you can pass the tests or have successful trades consistently

I'm currently in the middle of a sopranos rewatch (3rd time thru the series) and fukking matt and sean were two fukking morons. sean stayed shytting on the floor when pulling jobs with christopher even :snoop:

let me drop an extra scene of matt and sean looking retarded.

what's worse, is those two actually passed the series 7 and could be legit stockbrokers in the late 90's when the economy was on :fire:

Jackie JR. could have had the world at.his palms if he wasn't trying so hard to live up to his father.

He couldnt handle his shyt even after Tony gave him multiple chances out of loyalty to his father.

He was trying to hard to be a halfway crook.
He wanted to be a wise guy and Richie was schooling him and bringing him along. And one night he just vanishes, that's got to be hard to deal with when you were planning for that to be your future. Tony not letting him was corny and not that smart really. When you look at his crew and others niqqaz was old they needed new blood. Tony was too emotional as a boss.
