Sin Cara's been working fine for months now and people are into his offense. And, let's not forget, he was a bigger draw than John Cena at one point in CMLL. He doesn't belong anywhere near this thread.

That being said, Axel, Bo fukking Dallas, Mason Ryan, Primo, Zeke Jackson. Jack Swagger will NEVER have heat, no matter how hard WWE tries with him.

Do we have numbers to back that up? Id love to see a Cena stan spin that one lol

You could make an argument that anyone with decent mic skills and/or confidence and/or charisma and/or acting skills SHOULD be able to get over. It's all about writing and character development. If they get the right gimmick and storyline, they can grab the ball and run with it. There have been a lot of wrestlers who worked for years before they found the right gimmick and truly got over.

Also: Miz HAS been over. Swagger HAS been over. So there is always a chance it could happen again.

But do I have any ideas on how to get Miz over now? fukk no.

Axel & Swagger are fairly over :dwillhuh: & Mason Ryan would do well as a face :aicmon:

The thing with heels today is that fans don't boo them, barring the occasional crowd. The ones who actually get heat are managers or wrestlers smarks dislike. Other than that, heels get a lukewarm or mixed reception. That's why it's hard to determine if a heel is "over" or not these days based solely off heat.
