Some Comedians are known for giving that real life knowledge on stage.
Was watching some Chris Rock stand ups and dude really is up there educating me on different aspects of life.
Who else drops a lot of knowledge in their stand ups that you've learned something from?

George Carlin - politics, American Society
Lenny Bruce - politics, relationships, American society
Bill Hicks - American society
Bill Cosby - relationships, family dynamics
Richard Pryor - relationships, American society, race relations
Robin Williams - relationships, addiction
Dave Chappelle - American society, race relations
Chris Rock - American society, race relations
Jimmy Dore - politics

I respect comedians a lot, they talk about a lot of things you won't hear from anyone else.

Good list. I'd only add Paul Mooney and dikk Gregory to this...both for race relations and American society

You're are right, Mooney is smart and on point but not that funny to me. But yeah, dikk Gregory is a comedy king.

Chris Rock has the single greatest line ever to me.
so simple.
and yet so true.

"the black man gotta FLYYYYYY to get to something the white man can walk to!"

when he talked about the white dentist living next to him and all the other black celebrities, it really put things in perspective for a young me :wow:

another great line he had from a previous standup (might be Never Scared) "Shaq is rich, the man who signs his checks is wealthy" :wow:

also this whole video right here
