I would def go with swimming if you're doing a serious workout, for me personally. It just works a lot more than running for me. shyt had me sore in places I didn't know I could get sore at
Been running for an hour on the treadmill 6 times a week for an hour for the last month and the weight has been dropping off.
sorry for delayed response, haven't been on as much latelyIt can but as a primary exercise it seems to miss the mark.
Also other ways of training in explosive ways can translate to long distance running but not always vice-versa.
