Most of us have seen or are currently watching the New Edition story and will agree that BET knocked it out the park :wow: They proved they can produce some good stuff. Even the upcoming Mandela film looks like it might be a hit too.

With that said, who y'all think they should make a movie about next? Here's some early suggestions:

-Jodeci: this one was mentioned a lot in the main thread and I can already see the fukkery in my head :russ:

-Outkast: I think they could do them justice. They definitely gotta touch on the whole Dungeon Family as well.

-A Tribe Called Quest: RIP Phife :mjcry:

-Mary J Blige: her life story was made to be told in a movie.

If he would be open and honest its R Kelly. The aaliyah marriage. Leaving public announcement in the bushes. Peeing on little girls. The drama with jay z. U could easily get 3 nights out of r Kelly. Story.

BET needs to make a whole damn network JUST doing these bio pics. Period. Because people will watch and there's like 50 years of groups that they could do movies on.

I would like to see one on a comedian.

We still need a Pryor movie

Eddie Murphy I think would be good- From young up and coming comedian, to his rockstar years where everything he touched was gold, to his fall off years, up to his roast where he is able to see all of who he influenced.

Martin- Same as Eddie except have his go up to maybe Runtelldat where he is able to go at his critics

The best and most tragic one would be High Five. I don't know if they could do 3 nights but their story needs to be shown. They were almost a carbon copy of New Edition as a group but they didn't have a member like Bobby Brown.
