EDIT: Berserk is a great series, but I don't know if I can nominate the Godhand... they're just too demonic for me

Ginyu force
People want to clown but the Ginyu Force were one of the most entertaining crews in the history of anime.
Their ridiculous poses
Betting chocolate bars on who wins when they watch each other fight
Even their voices and the way they talk
...but they still got busy when they needed to. Recoome was doing work in that fight.
Even Vegeta was shook when he first heard they were coming to Namek.
They're probably my favorite crew in DBZ aside from the Gohan/Krillin/Vegeta team-up. Yeah, people want to say the Z-fighters as a whole, but they have Yamcha so they're disqualified IMO. It's too bad they got killed off so quickly (except for Ginyu himself).
Not every single character and their dog needs to be on some ultra-gully anti-hero type stuff. Sometimes you just want to sit back and laugh at a bunch of characters who are colorful and fun. The Ginyus have way more personality, character, and overall charisma/swag than the likes of Jiren IMO.

Lowkey the Z-Fighters have always had some fukk shyt going on in their squads but the Tournament of Power was almost the dopest Z-Fighter roster they could've assembled. Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, 17, 18, Krillin, Piccolo, Roshi, Tien, and then you cap all that off with fukking Freiza for the 10th spot????
If they could've trimmed the Krillin, Tien, Roshi fat and somehow replace Piccolo with Trunks, that would be a super fire crew.
Haven't seen anybody showing the 7 Deadly Sins any love. Meliodas and Ban alone >>>

Nah, I always liked Krillin and Piccolo. Tien had his moments too. Roshi probably should have stayed retired, but Super still could have been their chance to write in some wild bullcrap to make the human fighters and Piccolo semi relevant again.
I never liked how the way Toriyama bushed all of the OG fighters from the first Dragonball in favor of more and more Super Sayians. The whole SSJ concept was HYPE when Goku did it the first time on Namek, but after everyone started doing it, that mess started getting old IMO. Not everyone needs to be a Super Saiyan, especially the two 7-year olds who had never been through anything that was really live at that point. (/unpopular opinion).
As much as I clown Yamcha, they really could have done a lot more with his character. They could have let him shine or do SOMETHING important (than getting his girl taken by Vegeta) at least once after the first Dragonball.
I can agree with you that I kinda wished they could have left Frieza out. He's such an irredeemably evil character to be fighting alongside the Z-fighters, even compared to Vegeta at his worst.
