you should watch War of the Worlds, it's definitely a great watch, and I like how Spielberg did this version

Edge of Tomorrow is definitely >>> War of the Worlds but Oblivion is better than both to me. I love a good Greater World reveal that changes the context of a sci-if movie.

maybe war of the worlds is bettee over time. Yet i remember that movie being so uneventful. At times it felt.
