what's the criteria for this? # of classic movies or just a certain amount of really classic flicks? what about actors who are great in a movie but the overall movie isn't really that good: for example, Brad Pitt in Troy.

some actors have some insanely great movies but have been in a lot of movies (good and bad)

All actors are going to have bad movies if they're around long enough, I just think we gotta look at the whole picture. Nobody's perfect

Day-Lewis only has one questionable picture, which is Nine...other than that, I can't think of a average or worse movie in his filmography

Well then that raises another question: are we talking performances or movies? Because Denzel has never had a bad performance but he's had some meh flicks. Lincoln is good but it isn't great, although his performance is great

Leo's been in the game for 20 years at this point, he can qualify. and I think I'm leaning in that direction

I'm talking movies, not performances. His movies are all great and for what it is worth (even though I didn't like how the movie was filmed), for the movie that was made, it was still pretty good.

i hated that Island flick

Fair enough on the island. Forgot about that one. I think I'm going to think outside of the box on this one and possibly include a comedy actor...I need to marinate on this one
