All that cheap housing in the south and y'all still stressed?

I know in Louisiana at least things are set up so that only certain folks have the resources to take advantage of the cheap land/housing . And on average if you drive through any Louisiana town you'll see poor/working class folks just scrapping by in Shotgun houses and trailers meanwhile there's certain families living in the outskirts of town with an abudance of resources. I'm talking 200+ acre lots of land
, 3 story 20 room Mcmansions, multiple 2017 Denallis,Range Rovers, Infiniti trucks, Beamers, Benzs, Jacked up Ford Trucks , etc
