Kendrick is not dropping an album this year. Only reason we got so many songs from him is because Aubrey begged him to come outside.

i feel like he wont drop this year too.

To me, he dropped the ball by not announcing an album release date with the Juneteenth concert.....He's scorching hot.....He probably would have done 600-800k first week which is unheard of in this day and time for Rappers who rap.

with that said --- I will give him credit. I think some of this is him not wanting some of the sentiment being "he only sold like that bc he was beefing with Drake"

He'll be fine. Whenever he drops it'll be everywhere, and the rumor is that he's going on a feature run; he'll be on Roddy and YG's upcoming albums. Doing that and then dropping in September or October is gonna work. If the battle taught us anything it's that he's an obsessive planner and he has this shyt mapped out. Fall album, Interscope fourth quarter, tour in the spring/summer next year...I see the vision.

The album should be out this year fall/winter. I’m curious if he will do a modern west coast sounding album like “Not Like Us” and the joint in the video. But imo Kendrick’s albums are usually unpredictable sound wise.
