I’ll be 34 next month, have my degree and MBA, am in sales and have made 6 figures a year (105 previously salaried and this year more because I did a career switch ) for about 8 years now.

Maybe where you live. Where i'm at it's the base level salary for accounting, for customer service reps at insurance companies, a database assistants, tooling apprenticeships etc. People with anything from a bachelors degree to a trade school graduate can earn that much starting out.
