I loved the above, Foundation, Paparazzi, What you see.

I wasn't feeling "X". With Dr. Dre's polished style (vs his funk)

I love Xzbit. But I know we had a supergroup that didn't pop, did Mtv, did Hollywood.

And he did/does drink smoke heavy.

i also enjoyed his features

but his delivery and voice was a little too much for me so i never copped any of his albums

So yeah he will always have a place in hip hop history

Pimp My Ride kind of over shadowed his career...but he released a lot of really good music up to his first album w/ Aftermath (Restless?).

First two are classics to me.
Really liked some of the stuff he was making w/ The Liks, Ras Kass, Saafir, etc...

Xzbit great in his own lane,but is he relevant in 2020?

One thing that's scary is him earning $400,000 one year. Pimp my ride gets dropped - he earns $60,000 the next year. $900,000 in owed taxes.

He seemed like a down to earth rapper, but it sounded like he was living "extra large".

A lot of people think pimp my ride was his undoing. I was already noticing his music falling off before that show. That man vs machine album was weak, only a couple dope tracks and it just been mediocre since.
