PS3 is the most underrated out of all the PlayStations. PS2 was good, but I was bored with the system by 2004. PS4 however has the best lineup and AAA games since. Sony learned their lesson at the end of the PS3 lifecycle and never let their foot off the gas.
PS4 is the GOAT. But people really sleeping on PS3. Before this generation, I thought the PS1 was the GOAT. It changed the industry into where it is today and really pioneered and ushered a new era of gaming. I miss the days when devs would try new ideas and see if they would stick. PS1 was all about that.

But as far as a library of games the PS2>>>PS1>>>>>>>>>>PS4>>>>PS3 everything on the ps3 ran horrible in comparison to the competition. Literally games made for xbox and ported over.

that 1st gen ps3 was perfect. it played my ps2 and ps1 games, perfect for me. I don't play my ps4 much tbh even though it has great games. I don't know if it's because i outgrew gaming regularly or just don't have time to play like I used to. I find myself playing my xbox a lot more but i honestly use it for everything.
