Where does LeBron's block on Iggy rank in terms of greatest defensive plays of all time?

Thinking of the super bowl, low key on third down against the 49ers, jimmy smith breaking up a catch at the goal line on the Ravens final stand is a huge play. Ran right through the ball as the receiver was catching it. That forced them to throw on 4th down and let them cover the receivers heavy.
To think Kaep went from I got next to splitting reps with Blaine Gabbert :wow:

The player involved and the circumstances certainly elevates it. We will see it come Finals time every year forever. Truly iconic play.

Surprised the tackle on the goaline in the Rams/Titans SB hasn't been mentioned.

Can't see anything topping Malcolm Butler though. The fact that they had practiced against that very play and were basically waiting for that shyt is :wow:. That play may well have stopped what could have been team of the decade and Brady went from arguably the GOAT to undisputed in the minds of many.

Also I think Von's play at the beginning of the SB should be up there. It wasn't the end of the game but that set the tone for that game and really changed the game. Getting that TD on the board was huge with the condition that Peyton was in and the way both defenses were playing.

I was a huge greatest show on turf fan and I forgot that one :snoop:. I'm talking enjoyed watching that crew more than almost any other sports team ever and wanting to grab a jersey of each key player on the offense with a super bowl patch and only played as them in NFL fever type stannery :wow:. On the note of great tone setting plays, Ray Lewis chasing down the sweep play tiki ran and his pass deflection followed by Jamie sharper crushing Ike Hilliard over the middle were two more. Another play I'm surprised hasn't been brought up is Tracy Porter's pick 6 to clinch the super bowl for the saints.

Not that high honestly, points are deducted because Iggy was hurt and couldn't jump

Any other day Iggy would've dunked that :yeshrug:

he was fine game 7. it had nothing to do with injury, it was was JR smith providing just enough resistance to make him have to adjust and give bron just enough time to beat the ball to the glass
