It depends. You can't deny his success and the fact that he carried the company for a long period of time. However, creatively, he could have done a lot more character-wise as a wrestler.

people need to stop with this "carried the company" talk.

he carried them where?

just because youre the main guy in favor by the bookers, it doesn't automatically mean that youre carrying the company. especially when the company goes downward while youre supposedly carrying it.

its just like that other thread where people were trying to say that hbk & bret carried the WWF in the mid-90s. more like they were dragging it down the steps.

15 years. top 10

and i dont wanna hear "weak era" shyt either unless you dont have jordan in your top 5, because that nigg won all his ships in the 90s when the greats got old and the young niggs hadnt come up yet.

it was moreso a weak era for the WWE, as opposed to wrestling as a whole. the highest ranks on my list from that era are from other promotiins.

and yea, I don't view Jordan as a lock for top 5.

Nah..Jordan dealt with the Lakers, Pistons...He kicked everyone's ass in the end. The Clyde Trailblazers..all of them.

the lakers & pistons were on the downside when the bulls started winning titles.

the blazers were def mainstays as contenders, but they were never gonna win a chip breh.

john cenas being the number one guy is why most dont fck with wrestling, but since his got credentials probably top 40 but theres nothing i like about him in wrestling other than his seems like a nice guy.

if randy orton was the top guy wrestling would be way doper with actual wrestlers like legacy, rhodes, and them not these comicy dancing clowns. but you are grown man children cant believe you still watch this shyt.

Randy Orton is easily one of the worst main event stars that the WWE has ever had. Injury prone, unprofessional, lazy, no personality, terrible mic skills, and on top of that a scumbag outside of the ring. They tried hard to push Orton as the top guy and he blew it. Legacy was an awful stable. :scusthov:

Good question,

On the mount Rushmore of company's no #1 it would be 1. Hogan, 2. Stone cold(and rock). 3. Cena. 4. Flair. 5.Sting and Goldberg.

But as far as performer or rassler I have never rated him. Apart from injuries I feel he and orton being fresh out OVW is what made the E dumb down it's in ring work rate. And after 15 years I only see a marginal improvement. He is great on the mic and his work ethic and longevity can never be questioned but the amount of protective booking he got to get to where he is was unprecedented. Those super cena years were extreme I can't respect that.

Yeah there are some characters that shouldn't be the leader of factions Randy Orton is not a speaker, showman or a leader of men so legacy looked stupid. They should have either elevated rhodes/dibease as his equals or done away with it.
Cmpunk for all his mic skills and charisma was no leader either. The corre was iil-conceived and that other group with festus and that bald chick was terrible yet he was good on the mic. Strange

He was like a on fire D Wade from 06. He was a star among stars.

almost every team had one of those back then tho. it was the goat era for singular stars, but it was also the expansion era, so all the rosters were watered-down.

the bulls had the only roster from that time period that could be contenders in this super-team era that we're in now. blazers didn't have a pippen or even a Horace grant.

and they never had to play the 2nd best team of the '90s - which had an older but still effective Drexler.
