SFII was SF's peak, by time this shyt dropped 2D fighting games had fell off, nobody was tryna play boring 2D shyt we had since the genesis/snes era when we had new piff like Tekken, DOA, Soul Calibur, Virtual Fighter etc.


SFIV came out and brought the series back to its former glory tho

Maybe to the casual fan. 99-00 was it's fukking peak for the hardcore brehs.
