Evolution of ideas over time

Bingo. It's an accumulation of human knowledge. None of this shyt would've been possible without discoveries that were made by previous civilizations. Only Cacs are arrogant enough to claim the totality of human knowledge as their own.

Persia, Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, India, China, the Islamic caliphates, ancient Greece, Rome etc all contributed.

Without the discoveries of someone like Al-Khawarizmi, there would be no algorithms (Al-Gorithm = a cacified version of Al-Khawarizmi) and hence much of modem technology would've been impossible to achieve.

There has always been technology, brehs. I ate when people use the term technology as if it's something new from the time the internet came around

One of the first GREAT technological advances was when man invented the wheel.

To us in 2017 (5.5 centuries later) the wheel looks like a "duh" innovation but its invention back around 3500 BC revolutionized how things like food, tools, people and anything was transported. What took 30 men to carry by hand suddenly took 4 to just push a chariot with 2 wheels on. And to think the early wheels were more used for pottery and it took another 300 years after its invention for man to apply it to transportation by adding it to a chariot. All these massive stones that form the pyramids were likely moved on wheel columns from point A to point B

That later evolved into gears which is the cornerstone for all out mechanical devices

Dumb luck

The microwave was invented by mistake. Percy Spencer was developing radar transmitters during WW2 when he noticed one day that the candy bar in his pocket was starting to melt.
