Cody could've easily did a Homelander style heel character that would've got OVER AF on some Scott Hall jacking Tony Montana shyt but he wanted to be John Cena or 80s Hulk Hogan instead. He wanted it 1 way when it was the other way. Ultimately though he's a wrestler and that was Tony Khan's job to connect the dots and get him to do what's best for biz and not what's best for Cody. TK sucks at that and that's why AEW can't get over the hill because there's nobody policing them dudes.
