So true. I think that’s gonna be one of the more annoying things as time goes by, I think people want an alternative so badly that they’re maybe overly protective of AEW and criticisms that they’ll go into overdrive with it. Hopefully this place finds a middle ground where being critical of them doesn’t make you a WWE apologist but an objective critic, but I think that’ll take a minute to get there.

They look extremely pathetic. I couldn't imagine complaining about a company being mediocre to downright bad for years, and shytting on an upstart company that could potentially ignite a fire under the WWE just cause you have battered spouse syndrome towards the WWE. These nerds came out in full force defending Vince and Co to the core, even when people have actually mentioned the flaws in Double or Nothing last night. It's embarrassing to protect a company like that that has fed downright bad programming to people for more than a decade now, way more often than not.

Raw and SD have been bad lately and I'll say it.

Also what I saw last night didn't impress me as it may have others. It has potential as long as they don't get into a petty war with Vince.

NXT still the best thing going today in my opinion.

So longer shows means it's better? Raw and SD are examples that's not true. Most the time a 1 hour or even less NXT TV is better than anything Raw or SD did that week.

I do admit I skip NXT UK. I'm sorry but it's status to me. I will watch anything Pete Dunne does tho.

Nah I don't enjoy RAW either. If I had to guess, I think I personally don't like NXT weekly because I can tell which gimmicks are DOA once Vince sees them.

Ironically it's the main roster and Vince who mess up my NXT enjoyment. Too many guys and girls who I've rooted for have been called up and done nothing on the main roster, so I end up feeling like it was a waste.

Stop thinking about it like that. Enjoy it for what it is in NXT, because that's where it really shines. It's rotation of stars is pretty good.

Nxt has never been the same since Asuka left and then when they pushed her down for the blondes..that was proof enough that no matter how special u were in NXT, it dont mean shyt and the show isnt worth investing into. But getting bankrolled by a man worth 6 billion dollars in Shahid Khan and getting a major television deal with TNT wasn't declaration of the intent to directly compete with the only other major wrestling company funded by a billionaire on the USA network? Like, you can do this for the love of the craft in a high school gymnasium. Clearly, they're competing with WWE for money & fans. I don't see how anyone who can add 2 + 2 can be bewildered by this. They threw shots at WWE long before Cody beat up a stage prop.
