If you live in Brazil, I assume you're already familiar with the whole history of Palmares and Zumbi and other quilombos, but if not, it's worth looking into. Some of the revolts during D. Pedro II's regency too. And there's so much about Angola. SO MUCH. Angolan & Brazilian history is super connected throughout the slave trade period.

I'd recommend starting by watching Hidden Colors 1-3 and then focusing on an area of interest you watch because it covers everything from BC times to the present.
