Its called paying your dues. If you train in the northeast, you are in for a hard time. The scene is tough out here. Just be glad Homicide and Low-Ki isnt training guys up here anymore.

There were some in Ohio, a few years back who were taking students. Go for it, if it's something you really want to do, you'll probably regret not doing it, later. You can do it and go to school/work.
Work out (to increase your stamina and endurance, not just for looks). Find a decent school. For a while you probably wont even break even with what you might make vs what's coming out of pocket but if you have a passion for it, you never know what doors might open. If you do NOT have a passion for it, just forget it. It'll probably cost you more than you'll get out of it and you'll probably quit (I hear they're tough on you).
