Um Thorn screwed us before he left with outlaw and petro, his drafting sucks(i wont even go through the list you should know).

Billy King aside from the wallace trade(however you want to look at it) hasnt been incompetent. That was really the only questionable move he made.

The Roster he took over had

Harris/Farmar
Morrow/T. Will
Outlaw/Graham :why:
Humphires/Joe Smith :why:
Lopez/Petro

Under orders from management he turned it into Deron williams, Marshon Brooks(who was a steal at 25), another gem in Gerald Green from the D league, Dwight Howard basically telling anyone who will listen he wants to be a net. I dont know in my lifetime saying they WANT to be a Net.

If we stayed healthy this year the roster that hasnt played together wouldve been

dwill/farmar
brooks/morrow
wallace/green
humphries
lopez

That roster didnt see the floor at all this season at the same time cuz someone was always hurt.

If dwight wasnt a coward at the deadline he wouldve gotten us 2 superstars in 2 years. Not his fault dwight played p*ssy.

dog, Thorn drafted then traded Eddie Griffin RIP for Jefferson. Steal,
traded for Kidd
traded for Carter

He made the Nets relevant. How you gonna shyt on that man?

Na not shyttong on Thorn at all but just what he did before he left us was real spiteful (outlaw 5/35 mil? Petro 3.5 for 3 yrs??) talks about retiring then goes to philly??

Just saying Billy gets heat for ONE bad deal hes made since hes been here(wallace deal) but he was literally hrs away from GM of the year (putting dwight and deron together) considering the roster he inherited.

This nikka deron is either the illest troll ever or hes staying.

In what could be a sign that Deron Williams intends to re-sign with the Brooklyn Nets, the star point guard invited Nets coach Avery Johnson to a small and intimate gathering to celebrate his 28th birthday Tuesday night, sources said.

Johnson, the only member of the Nets' organization in attendance, was one of roughly eight people who joined Williams at a restaurant in the New York area. The group also included members of Williams' family and his agent, Jeff Schwartz.

But there are increasing signs that Williams, the most coveted free agent on this summer's market, will stay put. He has been working out almost daily at the Nets' practice facility in New Jersey, often going through shooting drills with Johnson. Sources say he has also discussed strategies for next season with Johnson.

Williams is not planning to visit or meet with any teams once the league allows clubs to begin recruiting players on July 1, sources said.

The best news site for the nets that I've been following is netsdaily.com

The Knicks have a good sb nation site too.

Anyone think deron would spend all his time in the facilities if he didn't plan on staying?

Deron Williams will be a free agent on Sunday, officially, because GM Billy King because he didn't opt into the final year of his contract by the deadline. Sooner rather than later, Mark Cuban will give Williams a call. But King said he isn't concerned. "Because that's the process, that Mark Cuban will call him. End of day, he's going to play here or he's going to play some place else. I think we've done everything, prepared everything. He's got a great building. So everything is mapped out. He sees what we have. He sees what they have. And he's got to make a decision. ...It doesn't worry me, because we're prepared. We've done our work and the ultimate goal is to have him playing, opening the Barclays Center next season. And we haven't wavered on that, but he's got to make the decision that's best for him and his family."
