You don't watch melo or the Knicks play just admit it . What difference does it make melo averaged over 22 last year injured and with a horrible Fg % . You guys say isoball is a black hole when it's not going in buy when its dropping it helps the offense so if he gets his fg% back up that helps him and stat. Not go mention he has a pg again Just like after the last Olympics . As much as people shyt on him and stat they still made the playoffs both years with mismatched pieces . How did melo and stat play with Woodson ? That's our coach now and they played fine.

Thats mostly on Stat imo. He didn't play well with or without him last season except for when Jeremy Lin was blowing up.

What does Joe Johnson contract have to do with anything? He's still an all star player. And since when is Wallace old? He's 30. And where did i ever say the Nets are a 2 seed, or the Knicks are going to be worse?

King's a scrub but this isn't his fault. If D12 didn't opt in like a bytch, none of this would've ever happened. Also, how could he have guessed that Orlando would take a worse deal for Dwight just to spite him?
I'm still not crazy about the JJ deal but even D-Will admitted getting JJ was what made him stay.
This will be a mediocre team though. Probably around 40-45 wins.

joe johnson who isn't even as good as melo played Isoball with the current coach and got results so if they do it they can make it work. Isoball is just isolating a superior offensive player with a inferior defenders . Melo is better offensively than most every nba player and creates those matchup problems the players standing around and not boxing out isn't part of isoball they just do it and that's on coaching .

I agree Carmelo is on fire, he's going to be great next season, but lets not turn this into Nets vs Knicks....Ok fukk it lets do it.
Joe Johnson is a consistent All-Star. He can create is own shot, defend the perimeter , and give you at least 20 points a game. I'd rather give him 20 mill a year over Stoudemire and his decaying body.
Gerald Wallace is only 30 and he's still a great defender.
What did the Knicks management do this offseason? Hire a bunch of old guys and get rid of their young pieces. Those idiots were ready to give up Shumpert for a 38 year old Steve Nash. They let Jeremy Lin go for nothing, they signed the All-Retirement team with Jason Kidd, Marcus Camby, and Kurt Thomas.
The Nets lost Jason Kidd in 2008 and Vince Carter in 2009. A few years of rebuilding and we already have brand new squad that can do damage in the playoffs. The Knicks took 10 years to rebuild a good squad after the Ewing era.
Johnson is the most famous player from the hawks but josh smith surpassed him . We had to let Lin go for nothing we couldn't sign and trade and they wanted Felton who knows how to play with amare. Felton isn't even 30 and we still got shump. Amare is better than joe Johnson and melo is better than dwill, chandler better than lopez not to mention our veteran bench Is what you need to win .still got Novak we straight. The other stuff means nothing cause the nets were irrelevant while good and still irrelevant compared to the knicks
