Originally this was the plan, but the Sony fanboys cried. The Xbox today is a gimped version of what it originally was meant to be. Game sharing and stuff was impossible they said, and gamestops was against it too (they was happy for Gaikai tho 
)
Now Microsoft is slowly implementing their strategies, even announcing console level streaming to any device
if the Xbox was always on, We'd be in a different space today..crackdown 3 would have been out, and our games would look and play better because of the Xbox systems working with the cloud as opposed to the cloud doing most of the work like it's evolving to.
Where all my cloud haters out there, can I see your dumbass faces so I can scratch my balls then give you a slow mo slap where a finger/dingleberry can land on a tooth.
