I'm a black atheist.
But maybe agnostic since I view God as a possibility but not a certainty but technically an atheist since I view God as a concept with an unknown reality. I really don't know

I was raised in the Nation of Islam, converted to Christianity in my early 20's, converted to Judaism in my late 20's, became agnostic at 30...

Kind of similar to my trajectory. Went to Sunday school every Sunday and became agnostic/atheist by the age of 9 or 10.

Don't try talking to any got damn body about believing in God and spirituality when you tried coercing a child into watching and listening to you have sex. Those aren't the moves of somebody with a legitimate belief system, and if they are then it's an even larger issue. Not believing in Abrahamic religion doesn't make you a c00n. Its true that black people tend to look down on you when you dont believe i wasn't brave enough to be honest with myself about it until i became an adult. I wish we would stop holding onto religion the way we do.
