I was just watching all access on Showtime YouTube and Wilder said "I have a cold"

Hmmm...didn't he have one with the Ortiz fight too?! Think we might see why his weight is down again...

How this dude gets cold 2X in a row right before his fights (his 2 biggest fights so far at that...)

Vitali gets something of a raw deal he is always grouped together with Wlad as boring.

Vitali was an iron chinned gladiator with the initiative to take you out. Might be a bit awkward for casuals and not Tyson like balls to the walls aggression but he was definitely an offensive, entertaining fighter. :yeshrug:
C/S

Wladimir was always a paper chump but I been said it for years Vitali was legit...

Better chin and was a more organic fighter as opposed to Wlad who was a one dimensional robotic stiff...

That era was still trash but if it wasn't for those two injuries (shoulder against Byrd and cut against Lennox) I think Vitali would be more highly regarded by folk...

Vitali I just don’t see any heavyweight beating him, he was a true 6’7.

If the fight with Lennox wasn’t stoped he would have won and then Lennox ducked the rematch.

Y’all can say Lennox ducked the rematch but he wasn’t even supposed to fight him and he came into the fight mid thirties out of shape expecting to fight an easier fight. It’s it that cut and dry.

Vitali probably would of won that fight if it wasn't stopped because of the cut but its important to put that fight in correct context...

Lennox spent the majority of his camp training for I believe Kirk Johnson...Vitali was Lennox mandatory but Lennox chose to fight Johnson first as a tune up...Vitali was fighting on the under card that night but Johnson got hurt in camp like 2 weeks before the fight...Rather than cancel the event Lennox agreed to fight Vitali that night...
In other words Lennox was not training for Vitali and it was evident by his :flabbynsick:conditioning he didn't train much at all...Same Lennox that fought and got put to sleep by Rahman showed up that night...That was not the ATG Lennox we know...

to be fair Lennox was past hi prime by then
I don't necessarily agree that I wouldn't pick any HW in their prime to beat him but surely he would give any of them all they can handle
