Why be mean? I'm tryna take my girl on vacation but I don't feel like being glued to a schedule. I'd rather just go with the flow.

Usually when I go on vacation I try to eat or do something that I can't do here in Birmingham. So we will have stuff to do it's not like we are rushing to do this or rushing to do that. We're on vacation so we just take our time. If we don't get to it, no sweat off our backs.
i like a mix to have events but spread them out. i once went on a 3 week vacation with someone and had events and things to do all day and all night. we had one legit day of rest in the 3 weeks and by the end of the trip i was done and the last like 4 days i was ready to go home because i couldnt stand the constant feeling of having to do something because we are so far from home
now when i go one trips i dont try to do as much, you need a break you dont wanna beat yourself up.

I'm that girl on vacation in the group who is still sleeping when everyone else is out at breakfast at WTF o' clock the AM.
Pool, read, eat, sleep, show/activity/go out, sleep, repeat.
I shouldn't need a vacation to recover FROM vacation when I get home.

Exactly! That's what I faced last summer.
i dunno maybe its only me, but when i go away for like 7 days, after the 2nd day im bored of the resort already, m bored of just sitting by the beach etc.
I love to do stuff.
this past january iw ent to cuba, and the first day i was at the resort.. Second day i went to a bat cave, and checked out dolphins. Third day I rented a scooter and went into town and went shopping and horse back riding. 4th-6th day i went to havana. Every night i was out checking out clubs, and taking pictures.
that just sitting back resting at the resort is boring as hell to me. Even when I went to dr, i did like 4 excursions.
Im only relaxing chilling at the resort to eat and sleep

To answer the thread question, I just came back from a vacation a few weeks ago where everything was meticulously planned ... there were five of us, and three of us one night decided to just stay our late and deviate from the plan. Sometimes you just have to play things by ear and chill
Depends on where I am, but I mostly go to places locals frequent and chill. Once you get done with the sightseeing it's all about chilling with locals, hitting up the beach for 1/4th of the day and relaxing.

That being said, we did go to hot springs while we were in Iceland, and all the work I've been putting in at the gym was on display and people saw it
