You've never impressed me with your boxing knowledge before, so I wasn't expecting much in your reply anyway. :manny:

:mindblown: at the mere thought of Khan being any level above Algieri, especially after last night. You nikkas throw around these mythical alphabetical ranking for these fighters and can't realize they all on the same level. :mjlol:
dog all your doing is sneak dissing and dodging

i'm not a khan fan but he has beat
maidana
devon alexander
zab
paulie
and collazo

he also got robbed against lamont pederson

who has chris algeri beat in his career for you to say hes him and khan are equals:mjlol:
seriously find someone else better to stan

Of course Khan has the better resume. I'm not debating that.

From what I've seen from their fight last night they're pretty much equals. 2 B level guys at 147lbs. Not much else too it. I can't take anybody serious if they look at that fight and then say Khan is levels above Algieri. If Khan was levels above dude, he would have showed it, but he didn't.

Khan won a close fight that could have been a draw or went the other way, but he's better than Aligeri :mjlol: Yeah good luck with that.

Yep.

Only Floyd and Manny are levels above everyone else at 147, while Guerrero, Ortiz, Berto and Alexander are C+ fighters at 147. Everyone else with a name are B fighters (B- thru B+)

Everybody wants to stan "the best", bUT outside of Floyd and Manny....there IS no clear 3rd best Welterweight yet. They are all on the same level: Thurman, Bradley, Marquez, Brook, Maidana, Porter, Khan, Algieri, etc. There isnt a clear cut "successor" yet...just a bunch a good fighters all at the same time which can make alot if 50/50 type matchups like last night.

Khan won, but Algieri boosted his stock with his performance. He faired much better than Alexander and Collazo did in only his 1st fight with JDJ:wow:

Khan won a tougher than expected fight so we know that Khan is better than Algieri, but not by much as we thought

idk i kinda think broner would have enough power to stop khan...even at 147. dont know why so many picked khan so easily.......:patrice:

nikkas was falling in love with Khan's quick pitty pats and footwork. Then when you factor in that Broner doesn't let his hands go enough sometimes, I can see why some would favor Khan over Broner, but nobody should have thought it'd be easy work.

Broner could very well do the same shyt Chris did, but with actual real power behind all those right hands, left hooks, and body shots that Khan took.

there is no clear # 3
but again, thurman, bradley, marquez, brooks maidana, porter and khan all have signature wins and performances to stake claim in being a b-level fighter
how does getting embarassed by manny pacquaio (no shame in losing to pacquaio, but he was completely outclassed) and losing to amir khan in a decent effort put him as a B-level fighter?
His best win is against Provodnikov who dropped him twice in a fight half the public thought he lost

he belongs in the ortiz berto alexander class. i don't even see him beating guerrero :yeshrug:
and he damn sure aint beating thurman bradley marquez brooks maidana OR Khan

*Casual Boxing fan post* lol.......I didn't really see much from Khan last night that convinces me he's ready for shot at Floyd. shyts gonna be another cakewalk if he takes the fight. I've seen better performances out of Khan....and with the way Algieri was lighting him up, if he had some power... Khan would've seen the lights.

But overall...it was an entertaining event. I been fiending for some good boxing lately so I was satisfied. It was free, so I can't complain
