do you pre-plan your shirt and tie combo for the week or you just do what you feel ? (work environment isnt too competitive) :lupe:
I do what I feel, but I'm very conservative in my dressing choices: Navy/Blue suits it's either white shirt with a grey or dark red tie, or light blue shirt with a dark blue tie. Grey suits it's a white shirt with light blue or grey tie. A sales person once convinced me to buy a dark brown flanel tie, but I hardly wear it :francis:

grey suits with light blue shirts, it allows for a flamboyant tie game.

grey suits are like the little black dress equivalent for men, black suits look good at funerals or tuxedo format.

Keep em on deck for special events. I learned late that I needed a suit or two just in case. I started having awards dinners and doing more formal things with the job and stuff. Also captains dinners on cruises and stuff. I was out here dressing like a car salesman going to black tie events lol

My flamboyance is reserved for fabrics and patterns. To be honest, most of the time you can stand out simply by wearing a good fit. I don't want to look like a corporate drone, but you need to be careful when you work with mostly conservative cacs.

I dont remember when exactly but it couldn't be no longer than 3 years ago for some job orientation. It's no thing because I'm used to wearing dress shirts, pants and shoes anyway. I love dressing up.
