Once new blacks took control of black hollywood, it was a wrap. New blacks wouldn't have taken control of black hollywood if white folks didnt hand pick them. This all happened around the early 2010s (i'd say around 2013 when hollywood start to pick actors from the UK to replace black actors here). My guess is that once black men started dating interracially during the 2000s, white media execs were like "wtf" and were like "yeah we cant have that anymore" and pivoted in the 2010s.
