Vince is shook at ANY competition that may arise. He has raided ROH and tried to do the same to Lucha Underground (thats the only way Del Rio got resigned as quick as he did).


Vince is fully aware that WWE is stale and anything remotely interesting will get a buzz that can grow, so in short while World of Sport may not seem like much as a product, Vince rightfully views them as a potential threat.

WWE will be fine till somebody is seriously gonna throw money into competing with him. Panda Energy had the money but they treated TNA like a sweet 16 gift to Ditzy. Never any real understanding of what's needed to grow or investment put into it outside of signing Hulkkk in 2010 like it's 1994.

Sinclair has more than WWE money and a larger platform but RoH is just cheap programming to them that they are looking to flip it seems. LU ain't nothing but a money sink till they start touring and Netflix throws them a real deal.

To put it into perspective, World of Sport had 1.25 million on a New Year's eve show on ITV. That's 25x the viewers Raw gets in the UK. It's a big deal. They aren't in direct competition, but they would have destroyed the UK wing of the WWE. With Impact partnering with them and AAA/CRASH, wrestling is about to enter a boom period by 2020 I think.

It's only going to get worse when talent starts jumping and they scramble to plug people into place. Their 14 years of LOLCENA/ROMANWINS and 50/50 booking methods are going to bite them in the ass.
