When Wale pops out in 2025, what will J Cole’s excuse be?

Now I know you’re full of shyt :laff:

J Cole can’t do this :stopitslime: PERIOD.

Listen to these damn songs bro. Cole ain’t got shyt for this.

Yeah this feeds directly into my statement that Wale has no white fanbase like the rest of his contemporaries. No crossover success so his ceiling was limited

I'm not questioning his talent. Just saying at large people don't care for him in 2025

Cole has a fan base. I never doubted that. But Cole does not have “massive singles"

we need to stop that.

Wale’s singles > Cole singles. It’s not even close.
brother what......they arnt even comparable in reach Coles bigger in every way pause

Granted I never liked Wale to begin with but homie trying to act like being dark-skinned held him back in hip-hop of all genres was the final nail in the coffin for me.

you been trying to get this Wale (randomly) surpassing Cole shyt off for a minute…Wale ain’t in any kinda conversation anymore, where you getting this shyt from :mjlol:

I'm not understanding this angle either, in that other thread about J Cole's new song he's the only one bringing up Wale in posts, how is dude even in the conversation?

Thread starter is a long time Cole hater and has been so for years. There's literally almost no Cole thread on this site since it's creation that he's not in dissing Cole in lol.

my point is that Wale is everything people keep giving J Cole props for.

“culture”, “class”, records, hits, style, influence etc.

I like Cole, but I think Cole’s appeal is way less than people realize when compared to an actual staple and peer in the game.

Cole has been tolerated on potential, but when it comes to his albums or singles…we keep being let down because he does these freestyles and features where he drops undeniable high level performances.

This dude is becoming Jadakiss and I dont like it :francis:
