When Wale pops out in 2025, what will J Cole’s excuse be?

I know you’re joking but...

Wale is about to hit another prime. I feel it. Wale is no slouch.

Which rapper would you rather be as a 40 year old?

J Cole aint giving me this:

Wale is big in afrobeats at the moment and his feature run is gearing up… yall just not paying attention to what he’s doing out here.

:whew:

See, how can you listen to this…and tell me Cole’s bar-work can keep up with actually BREAKING shyt down? AND making it dope?

Wale got legit wedding songs. People disrespect Wale’s capacity for lyricism AND mainstream appeal.

Wale is who people think Cole is.

Watch…Remember this thread in at the end of the year...

Wale had next at one point, but I think he leaned too far into the thot anthems, then his recurring bytchassness behavior off the mic killed what was left of his motion. I still bump some of his stuff from time to time.

At one point Wale was expected to be part of the big 3 with Kendrick and Drake. He just started making corny moves.

There's a lot of people that could have replaced Cole, the 3rd spot was always very open

This never was the case. He had the potential but his debut album sold badly and reviewed poorly

Wale is definitely a great hybrid of "The big 3" imo. He could do it all and had better songs for the ladies imo. Just couldn't connect with a broad audience (I don't think white people know Wale at all tbh)

Funny that I think about it, Interscope may have killed his career in their efforts to build up Kendrick :ohhh:

Wale had label trouble. The MUSIC was never bad.

Wale has bigger and more hits than J Cole. On every metric. Except, J Cole has Grammys for features.

Wale can kill a club spot right now. J Cole can not.
