kyle korver and jr smith were absolute dreadful in this series

Nobody on the supporting cast was particularly good, and a few were nearly point shaving levels of bad. Love was their second best player, and he had major problems each game on top of his bad defense. 1-8 from deep in game 1, shot 39% from the field in game 2, had 5 points and 3 rebounds in the second half of game 3, and had 13 points on 13 shots while posting the worst +/- on the team tonight. He also averaged less than 2 assists per game. JR had no business playing at all after his showing the previous 3 rounds and the end of game 1. He finished the series averaging about 9.5 points and 1 assist on 31.5% shooting from the field, and that was good enough to be their third leading scorer. George hill was as bad too. Starting point guard and he averaged 7.5 points and 2 assists on about 35% shooting. Aside from James, the cavaliers as a whole shot 30% from deep on the series.

Exactly.
It's like they didn't have the condition for a long ass season, korver was lights out all playoffs but looked old and tired this round.

I'm not making excuses for lebron but dreadful.

its crazy how george hill averaged 17ppg
its crazy how rodney hood averaged 17 earlier this year
korver was good for 9-12 a game

yet all of these dudes look barely belowaverage nba players

This is what happens when you have one solitary playmaker and a terrible coach. No real offensive sets or identity or scheme they run, so they’re basically counting on LeBron to bail them out every possession. Add in them being a borderline historically bad defense that doesn’t really get any easy looks in transition, and this is what you get.

So this now means

Warriors 4 final run >>>>>>> Heat, & 80s Celtics and Lakers

2nd best 4 finals run after Russell's Celtics:ehh:
GS with the 3rd best, Chicago 6 in 8 years.

Those guys is used to first round exits, so the pressure got to them when it was money time.
