They would have atleast won a game if folks did their job . Tonight could have been one of those games . Bron was off but he did enough so if they played just a tighter on defense and not give up those easy buckets .The original point from the first thread was that it's not just the lack of "stars" that's the issue with beating the Warriors, but even having role players who actually do their roles would be a big first step.
I didn't mention adding a single "star" to the Cleveland lineup, just switching out a few role players with Houston, and it would dramatically change Cleveland's chances. Cleveland's supporting cast can't hit threes and they can't play defense, so how the hell are they going to beat an elite three-point shooting team that plays great D? Like I've been saying for two years, Cleveland needs guys who can contribute on both ends, and they don't have them.
