The original point from the first thread was that it's not just the lack of "stars" that's the issue with beating the Warriors, but even having role players who actually do their roles would be a big first step.

I didn't mention adding a single "star" to the Cleveland lineup, just switching out a few role players with Houston, and it would dramatically change Cleveland's chances. Cleveland's supporting cast can't hit threes and they can't play defense, so how the hell are they going to beat an elite three-point shooting team that plays great D? Like I've been saying for two years, Cleveland needs guys who can contribute on both ends, and they don't have them.
They would have atleast won a game if folks did their job . Tonight could have been one of those games . Bron was off but he did enough so if they played just a tighter on defense and not give up those easy buckets .

Hell, if George Hill hits a free throw OR JR doesn't have a brain freeze, they win Game 1.

If the supporting cast hadn't failed to make even 1/3 of their threes for the third straight game, they might have won Game 3.

But if this supporting cast could be relied upon to make those plays, they wouldn't be this supporting cast. :francis:

Bron played bad tonight. Yeah i know 33 pts, 13 assists etc....but he missed plenty of easy shots, made a lot of questionnable choices with the ball and killed the ball movement and momentum in the 4th with all his isos.

Im a bron fan, but yeah, this one is on him :francis:

Bron had an off shooting night, but he's literally the only player in NBA history who could have had THAT game called a "bad" game in the NBA Finals. :dead:

I get what you're saying breh. But his bad plays didnt show up on the stats sheets. All the terrible shots he took in the 4th, the lazy passes that led to turnovers, wasting 17 seconds off the clock dribbling aimlessly :francis:
