Could Dirk Nowitzki put Houston over the top?
The rockets have the talent to win now. The problem is Har_en and his whole gimmick playing style. Dating back to the 2012 finals he’s shooting 41% from the field and 32% from deep in the playoffs. His act doesn’t work in the postseason and he doesn’t want to switch it up.

no switches...

I hate playing someone and they switch off and computer guard you...esp. late in the game..

thats a hoe move
This is fine if you are playing v. Iso Joe and the Hawks but GS is always moving off the ball. Curry and Thompson getting screens, Green and Iggy cutting and screening. This is usually a bad decision which results in an easy basket if you don't switch.

I think the same thing. But CP3 is injury prone. I can just imagine Dirk in high pick n roll situations with Harden or CP3 .

this is disgusting :camby:

set the record for regular season wins and then add a top 3 player in the league. and dudes are gonna knock bron for "another finals L" to this fukkin all-star team :mjlol:

If we should stop holding losses in the finals against that man then we should also stop praising him for just getting there. :yeshrug:

He saw that FMVP slip away :mjcry:

The media was looking to job him of that FMVP anyway.. first 2 games they kept saying Bron was the MVP even though he’s down 2 games.. Durant played like shyt the first game but still have 26.. now the narrative is going to change that Durant is the MVP..

They really wasn’t trying to give it too him

Not so much on defense. Everyone besides curry and Klay hit at least half their shots. On top of that, hill, JR, green, and Korver went a combined 8-28 from the field. Been saying it all season. That roster has no business being in the playoffs, let alone competing for a title. This is the first time a defense that bad even reached the playoffs at all.
Coulda had Melo going 8 of 28 dolo if they didn't try to play us sending Frye and Shump back for him. I'm stating the obvious but without a draft grand slam and roster overall he wont even see the finals next year on that squad.
