God damn....it seems no matter where Palmer goes or what he does it will NEVER be his fault when the team sucks.

I dunno about what went down in Cincinnati, but he really isn't the reason the Raiders suck. I'm not saying he's playing at a pro bowl level or anything, but he definitely isn't playing like shyt. You could put in Montana, Marino, Manning, Favre, Elway, whoever you think is the greatest QB ever and at best the Raiders are a .500 team. The defense is fukking atrocious. They can't stop the run, they can't pressure the qb, and the corners can't cover.

are we gonna act like the Raiders fielding a buncha nikkas who were literally special teams lifers ( Giordano),and washed up used to be decent players ( Bartell,Spencer) on D...is not a continuing factor into why they still suck?

underachieving players like McFadden and Huff, dudes who shouldn't have been drafted in the 1st round ( DHB).

call it like it is..this team isn't very good, and it's mistakes leading up to the Palmer trade....didn't go away.

i saw them signing palmer as a lazy move. they just didnt want to look for a franchise QB.....thats really all it came down to

when did they "sign" palmer? hue "traded" for him and the raiders assumed his original contract (which is an albatross) but he did restructure so that the raiders had enough cap room to sign the players they did (tyvon branch extension
the nation fans who are calling for dennis allen and/or mckenzie to get fired really dont seem to fully understand how badly al davis ruined their cap flexibility. raiders def coordinator is doing fine. his play calls r putting his players in positions to make plays. they kjust arent making any plays. coaches coach, they cant tackle for you

I was against the trade that mortgaged the future for a band-aid last season but I can honestly say that Carson is not part of the problem this season. He's having a pretty stellar season with the lack of talent around him as well as Mike Briesel at RG (disgust)

Many of the interceptions he threw to end games were mostly at the fault of the receivers, yet he took the blame after the game (got to respect him for that)

To suggest Matt Leinart gives us a better chance to win earns this thread a 1* and neg rep.
palmer isnt THE problem, but hes a part of a problem.

not to mention, raiders could really use those draft picks right about now

you got no argument here. but some fans seem to think the guy who made "the greatest trade in the history of football" should have rec'd another chance so that when they finally realize how full hue was of himself when he never accomplished or won anything of signifigance , it will be 2 seasons and 2 more years of giving away draft picks
i have no doubt hue would have offered miami 2 first rounders to reunite ocho and carson again after all the receivers went down in training camp out of panic

Yall better quit sleeping on pryor:ufdup:
Why not throw him out there to see what he got.
You guys say yall have a bad oline. Well he's fast as fukk plus he's hard to bring down. Get him out the pocket to run or throw instead of having two ex-usc sitting ducks back there.
And you can find out if you have to draft another qb or not. You know what your getting in palmer and leinart already. Theyre not gonna improve that much beside a few mechanical adjustments. Let pryor learn and develop some, and decide if he can be the guy or not.

Carson has actually performed decently this year. He's not what he was a few years ago but he looks better then he did last year.
