I`ll tell you what it isn't, being raised in Hawaii by a white family.

Tell me what it IS. You have to know what it is.

White arrogance about how blacks live is never in short supply.

You guys SWEAR you have our narratives down pat.

Emp/Reb droppin knowledge for the masses, but the colibreh elite don't want to listen :snoop:

edit: nm emp saying smart shyt is to only cover it in dumbsht :smh: emp must think all black ppl were raised in the 'hood (i guess i'm in the minority of black ppl who were raised in nice neighborhoods and went to good schools :rudy:)

Not at all, I grew up around a lot of black people in upstate NY, mostly suburbs.

It wasn't Hawaii though and they weren't raised by a white family.

I don't know what it is, i`m not black.

I do know the majority of black people do not share Barack's background and upbringing though, that's just a statistical fact.

Times were different when Clinton was elected. Yeah people usually vote along party lines, but people usually pick the party that best suits them. There has never been a time when a candidate can call 50 percent of the electorate selfish and lazy, and that same 50 percent still support him. Most attacks against Obama come from a racist hateful angle. White people feel threatened by a black man as president.

I can't say there isn't a group who definitely subscribe to this, were they hate the black President.

But the two party system been around forever and the people on both sides usually ride hard against the other side no matter what. This isn't uncommon.

It is unfair to say everyone riding against Obama is doing so because he is black, and that is basically what the OP is saying.

Most people white or black didn't share his exact upbringing. But the "he is one of us" comments come from the fact that he didn't come from a wealthy family. He worked hard, went to college, and started his career from the bottom as most of us do.

you're going to judge a multiracial human being based off your experiences in upstate NY? :wtf:

are you :troll:?

Nah, what i`m saying is I understand that not every black person is from the hood like someone insinuated I thought.

But I do know the majority and statistics, just like everyone else here does. I could ask 100 random black people "Were you raised in Hawaii by a white family"

How many responses are going to be "Yes I was"

Like I said, this thread is the same dumb shyt GW Bush used to keep his presidency, he wore a Cowboy hat, some jeans and had clips of him on "The Ranch" and a bunch of poor white people identified with him and voted for him.

Voters are simple people.

No it's not the common man. They are usually the sheep. It's the people in power that are using that power and the political system, along with hateful racist imagery to "take back America"

how many are going to be "i was raised in the hood by screet nikkas"? yes, obama was basically a minority within a minority...still doesn't make that man less than 50% black (or whatever his percentage my be), stil doesn't mean he can't connect with half of his ppl.

No they don't, not in the OP they don't at least.

This was purely "He is black, we are black, he is one of us!!!!" type of comment.

The OP was just garbage.

I agree with you whole heartedly.

The people on the right are doing the same games and mental propaganda, but the OP is the same type of shyt.

"They're voting against YOU!"

Politics in general is just fukking propaganda and it's there on both sides.
