4 star out of Texas. Chose us over Penn State, Notre Dame & Georgia Tech. His dad is the offensive coordinator at Baylor and he didn't choose them, idk what happened there.

Nebraska needs to take on the Mentality of a small school/non power 5 school.

By that I mean they are NEVER gonna go back to cleaning up with top 5 or even top 10 recruiting classes.

They need to create or adapt a SYSTEM that will help them compete against the big dogs and maximizes they players the CAN recruit. ( Wisconsin does a good job of this with their power running game)

Trying to relive the glory days aint gonna cut it.

fukkouttahea with these bullshyt assumptions breh. Nebraska regularly has top 25 recruiting classes

Our last 5 recruiting classes (aka who will be plzying for us this fall)
2015: 30 (transition year between Pelini & Riley, still finished with a better class than a LOT of programs)
2016: 24
2017: 20
2018: 21 (transition between Riley & Frost, the staff arrived from UCF to only 6 commits & essentially 8 weeks to put together a recruiting class and pulled off a miracle)
2019: 15 (Even after back to back 4-8 seasons)

Our problem has mainly been a coaching issue.

Pelini was actually a good coach, the problem is he never switched his defensive strategy after moving from the Big 12 to the B1G.

Riley should have never been hired, but the AD who chose him (Shawn Eichorst, the same clown who hired Al Golden at Miami) has been fired. We also had really bad strength & conditioning under Riley. Jim Tressel, Patterson from TCU, TONY fukkING DUNGY and Frost while he was OC at Oregon had interest in the job, but Eichorst chose his friend, and got fired in the process. On the bright side, Riley was the one that offered my cousin so I'll always show him love:yeshrug:

Frost is the proverbial messiah for Nebraska football. He's a brilliant offensive mind, offensive players want to play for him, our defensive coordinator is good but we had some issues.

-Strength & conditioning issues on the defensive line (we play a 3-4 defense and seeing them get pushed around all season was disgusting)

-Mental/cultural issues dating back from Mike Riley and our old DC Bob Diaco (who might be the worst defensive coordinator in NCAA history, 2017 Nebraska was pitiful on defense)

Nebraska has been killing it on the recruiting trail after back to back 4-8 seasons. We nearly beat Ohio State in the Shoe last year. All we need is to work out some kinks on the defensive line & the sky's the limit.
