same here almost always intelligence and shyt like that...then physical defense. I always strive for a tankish offensive mage...since mage armor is typically trash

Any and every stat that helps me tank and bring the most pain to my enemies 
depends on the game
the only consistent thing among RPGs though is action economy = fastest way to break a game. if you get to do more things than the enemy in the same amount of time, you're winning

I guess nobody else does this, but I up personality/charisma at the beginning, along with strength and health 
Depends on the game. A lot of games have skills and perks that'll break the game a lot faster than any combat stats will.I.E. Skyrim with Smithing and Enchanting But a lot of the time it usually ends up being just stack Crit%>Crit Damage>Base Damagr for me.
