Indians as a buffer class? For Guyana especially, blacks controlled that country for a long time before some very specific things happened to give them power after independence. Black Jamaicans run that country as well, for the most part at least, as much as they can run it under the cloak of imperialism and globalization

There's way, way more nuance to it ofc but it's a fact that indians and other non-Blacks like the chinese were encouraged to emigrate to Black colonies for agriculture, clerical and other middle management work

I hate to bust your bubble, but African Americans are mixed as Hell too. A typical African American is about 75%-80% African, with most of it coming from West, Central and Southeast Africa. That Southeast African component is largely from Madagascar which means that African Americans have Indonesian DNA. That is not even mentioning the rapist European blood. So she is Black just like African Americans, but she is not an African American.
