Eric crouch got injured and retired , and he was a option qb.

Tebow was a first round pick
A black qb with tebow skill set would never get drafted that high

Wait Tebow was a 1st round pick noooo huh..

Was he a 1st round pick after he converted over to S as like ole boy said who you quoted or was he given the chance to get selected as a QB?

I'm confused

Actually a pretty well known black qb with a similar skill set did get drafted first overall.... Hell he was tebow's backup at one point but you keep on going.

Compare cam Newton to tebow y'all
Tim tebow, Vince young, and cam newton are all comparable. I don't think you watch much college football.

The big difference between tebow and can Is that Cam Newton has the intelligence to play in the pros and tebow is just... Stupid. I know people who went to school with tebow. All of them thought he was entirely to stupid to play in the pros.

dudes just love to complain to complain. while not looking at the history of D2 QBs in the league.

Flacco
Big Ben
McNair
Romo

teams arent scared of the level of competition anymore. if you have the skill & tools to be a franchise qb they will take you... & Carson does.

1. I understand what Sunny Dykes high powered offensive system is. He learned it from Mike Leach during his Texas Tech days.

You just keep posting stuff without actually looking up. It's all opinionated garbage.

2. That's just false. It's not even close to true. Not into today's NFL.
Russell Wilson played in a spread(NC State) and then Pro Style(Wisconsin) in college.
Cam Newton spread
Matt Ryan Spread
Phillip Rivers Spread
Derrick Carr spread
Colin Kapernick pistol
Ben Rothlisberger spread
Drew Brees Spread
Andy Dalton Spread

If you go by espn's QBR 4 of the top 5 passers in 2015 all played in spread offenses in college

3. NFL scouts seem to think that's a fixable problem.

4. He had bad game against Utah, but other than this is just more crap you're throwing against the wall to see what sticks. His games against Washington, USC, Stanford, and UCLA aren't bad by any measure. Those are 4 of the top 5 PAC 12 defenses in terms of points allowed per game. I'll save you the trouble of actually looking it up because we both know you don't like facts or stats.

Bruh when I say spread I mean the cats that never took a snap from under center spread. in 2016 thats what it means when somebody says spread. all taking snaps from under center.
Cam's a test tube baby who's a genetic freak and has been running the same simple ass college offense for the past 7-8 years. Kap struggles I wouldn't champion him. Dalton is :ld: ask bengal fans bout him. I'll give you Carr.
Dude threw a pick in the majority of his games. I'm not sure what you want to call that, but call it what ya want. dude isn't impressive :yeshrug:
this basically sums up both Goff and Wentz
in regards to someone shyttin on Goff...

Those guys spent a ton of time in the shotgun. We can nit pick about it but they all played in what I consider a spread. Spead offenses are vastly different now. No one considered those guys qb's in pro style offenses when they came out.

For the record I wouldn't have drafted Goff, but calling him "trash" and diminishing his accomplishments as a qb at Cal to strengthen your argument of why he'll be a bad pro is crazy to me. He was damn good last year.

Ej Manuel was drafted by a black GM

Bridgewater slipped and was the best qb that year and was taken behind a midget cac with off the field issues

Derek Carr was the best QB that year.

If Bridgewater was drafted at #22 instead of Manziel, you'd still be mad.

Let's be honest.

were they pro style? no. but did they have a lot of pro style elements? yes. did they have to be able to throw more than 3 routes? yes. would i call those offenses pro style over what Goff ran? yes

Tim Tebow is just trash bruh...intelligence has nothing to do with X's and O's bruh..

Tebow was smart enough to beat the Steelers in the playoffs
