When did Nike start selling athleisure at luxury haberdashery prices?

Do you cats not use the app? :dahell:

A Nike Tech top is $135. A bottom is $115.

Now you could obviously argue that's still too expensive but why would you go to....I dunno, Nordstrom or whatever and expect things not to be more expensive than stuff directly from Nike?

If you want Nike clothes, shop the app and look for sales. I have damn near every color hoodie/sweats and never spent more than $40-$50 per item. The tech stuff was around $100 just a week ago, due to Christmas sales.

Fred.
gotta get the app then. do mans have to sign up and become a nike member or sumn?

You gotta learn how to finagle the app. The Nike Tech top and bottom were ON SALE before Christmas in it's most popular color, black. Then on top of the sale they had the 30% off PROMO CODE. So the top/bottom came to around $135 total.

Play the game or get hit across the head with crazy prices.

If feel like New Balance making the resurgence it has (though it's kind of always been the Subaru of sneakers) pocketed some of Nikes lunch money because Nike is greedy and catering to trust fund babies and sneaker sellers as opposed to the everyday consumer.

NB quietly walked back it's MAGA endorsement and diversified it's product line from primarily running/tennis to a include basketball,baseball/football,skateboarding and streetwear.

everyone else has room to grow in that regards, Nike can only maintain it's presence.

They shouldn’t be looking on Nike for anything when they should be looking places like boutiques and EBay where they can on the good stuff for cheap.

The exact reason why Nike tried ridding of those places in the first place.

the flash tech fleece is OD expensive for what it is $240 CDN for the top and $200 CDN for the bottoms.

Breh…

That’s ONE option out of several and it’s a gimmick item. NIKE has been doing that reflective jacket gimmick for at least a decade and they always overprice it. In the past they would sell out immediately, but not so much today.

This. I usually wait for a sale or find a stolen pair for cheap on EBay.

I have used Ebay, etc. but like @CoCKy GeNiuS said, there's no reason not to use the app. You just gotta pay attention to sales and/or promo codes.
